amep.continuum#

Continuum Field Analysis#

The AMEP module amep.continuum provides various methods for analyzing field data from continuum simulations as well as conversion methods that convert particle-based simulation data into field data by using density estimators.

Functions

cluster_properties(dfield, X, Y, ids, labels)

Calculates the size, geometric center, center of mass, radius of gyration and linear extension of each cluster in a continuum field.

coords_to_density(coords, box_boundary[, dmin])

Convert the particle coordinates into a 2D density field.

gkde(coords, box_boundary[, weights, ...])

Gaussian Kernel Density Estimation (GKDE).

hde(coords, box_boundary[, weights, delta, ...])

Histogram Density Estimation (HDE).

identify_clusters(dfield[, scale, pbc, ...])

Identify clusters in a continuum field.

sf2d(dfield, X, Y[, other_dfield, Ntot, njobs])

Calculate the 2D static structure factor from a density field.
